Nehemiah can help families, couples, teens, and adult individuals who are struggling with relationship issues, emotional/behavioral issues, and other difficult life circumstances. She uses her understanding of relationship and family dynamics to help clients improve their emotional well-being and develop positive communication skills for lasting change. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating active listening, reframing, psychoeducation and creative outlets for clients to develop ways to express themselves, cope with life's various stressors, and live a more mindful life. She employs client-focused modalities, like Attachment-based, CBT, Emotionally Focused, Family Systems, Gottman Method, Narrative, Relational, and Strength-Based, to assist clients in gaining a deeper understanding of core problems rather than focusing on surface issues.
Nehemiah holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and has experience working with multiple age groups, ethnicities, family styles and experiences, behavioral issues, and mental health disorders.
