Rebecca invites you into a non-judgmental, empathetic space where she’ll help you overcome the experience of feeling stuck, whether that’s in your career, relationships, or health. While therapy may not always feel lighthearted, you’ll enjoy the way Rebecca adds a sense of levity and humor to your journey through the messiness of life. You’ll feel empowered to use your inner wisdom and strengths to manifest your dreams.
Rebecca’s clients can learn diaphragmatic breathing and other grounding techniques to employ when their fight/flight response system is activated. She provides psychoeducation about how stress and trauma impact the body and mind. Tailoring treatment through a reduction and trauma-informed lens, she utilizes tools such as Values Identification, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
With a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and a Master’s in Social Work and concentration in Health & Wellness, Rebecca has provided compassionate behavioral health care to clients from 1 to100 years old across the socio-economic spectrum. As a Queer identified therapist, she welcomes LGBTQ+ and ethically non-monogamous clients. And her dog Sunny may occasionally make an appearance during virtual sessions.
