About Rebecca Grushkin, LSW

When you’re in session with Rebecca, you’ll be welcomed into a comfortable space where you can allow yourself to be vulnerable. You’ll be listened to and treated with empathy. Together with Rebecca, you’ll create a roadmap that will address potential barriers while employing creative solutions to overcome them. You can expect to embark on a journey of identifying and reaching goals—perhaps with a bit of humor added in.

Rebecca’s clients can address a variety of mental health concerns that stem from the complexities of life. She uses many person-centered modalities in combination to meet each client's needs, like strengths-based practice, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and existential therapy.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Gender Studies from American University in Washington D.C. and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Denver, Rebecca’s worked with a variety of people in various settings, including an eating disorder clinic, long-term care facilities, and at a food bank.
