When you enter into a therapeutic relationship with Roxann, you’ll enter into a space where your unique life experiences and talents will be used to help you heal. Roxann will devote herself to helping you recognize your strengths so that you can use them to increase self-confidence, self-discovery, and personal growth. You’ll be treated with respect, dignity, non-judgment, and acceptance. Knowing it can be overwhelming to deal with the feelings of vulnerability that arise during therapy, Roxann will be sensitive to your fears, while at the same time teach you to stretch your “emotional muscles” to help you reach your treatment goals. Roxann works with adults on a variety of issues related to and including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and conflict in relationships. She utilizes approaches from multiple counseling theories, including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), existential therapy, and solution-focused therapies. She graduated with a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
