Samantha believes in treating her patients with unconditional acceptance and compassion. Her warm, nurturing, and empathetic style makes you feel heard, seen, and valued in your sessions. Samantha’s strengths-based approach not only helps you identify challenges, but also encourages you to enhance your strengths so you can grow through hardship, and ultimately heal and prosper.

Samantha uses active listening, empathy, encouragement, and authenticity to help her clients. She has worked with clients through their concerns with depression, anxiety, worry, fear, ADHD, grief, self-esteem, addiction, and trauma. Samantha’s approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, solution focused, and the power of therapeutic relationship. She uses modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, she’s worked in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) addiction treatment, Gottman’s couple’s counseling, play therapy, crisis counseling, working with inmates as an addiction recovery therapist, and family therapy, including children and teens.
