Some of the issues that Sarah helps her patients to overcome include depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and more. She actively listens to her patients to ensure she understands their concerns and goals. She utilizes evidence-based practices and modalities, such as motivational interviewing, mindfulness, person-centered, CBT, and CBT for insomnia, and will carefully consider new and emerging treatments, too. Additionally, Sarah can combine conventional or traditional therapies with functional medicine therapies to treat the person with a holistic approach.
Sarah earned her Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She's worked in various settings as a nurse, including civilian and military hospitals, and was in the US Army for eight years. She enjoys working with diverse populations and is committed to being a culturally competent provider.
