About Shawn Brewer, MA, LPCC

You’ll experience honesty, direct communication, and even humor to help establish a solid relationship from which you can create and strive to achieve your mental health goals.

Shawn’s clients can overcome many of life’s challenges, including relational issues in romantic, professional and/or friendly relationships, depression, anxiety, and addictions. They’ll learn how to take an in-depth and honest look into some of the hardest parts of themselves with confidence and professional care.

Shawn models authentic expression, honest communication, and interpersonal effectiveness. He helps his clients gain skills in self-control, deep breathing, grounding, meditation, and stretching. He works as an eclectic therapist and employs the Carl Rogers Humanistic Client-Centered Approach to establish a solid working alliance. From there he likes to use Gestalt, REBT, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing interventions.

With a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Shawn’s worked with clients battling PTSD, addiction, recovery, anxiety, depression and other clinical diagnoses.
