She'll guide you to overcome the stress that you feel. She'll you use humor to help you feel comfortable and at ease when sharing your most authentic self. She'll encourage you to grow.
Sydney works with people of all ages as individuals, couples, or families to deal with a variety of issues, such as substance use, codependency, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, comorbidity, and low self-esteem. She'll use active listening and summarizing to gain understanding and to clarify that understanding with clients to make sure she fully understands their pain. She'll use person-centered and solution-focused approaches to help clients acquire the tools they need to experience the healing they seek. Modalities like mindfulness, CBT, and DBT allow Sydney to meet her clients where they're at.
Sydney holds a Master's in Social Work from Indiana University.
