Timothy Eisenzimmer is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with experience addressing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, jobs/careers, sex, LGBTQ+, loneliness, phobias, grief/loss, change, stress, ADHD, communication, finding purpose, and unhealthy thoughts (cognitive distortions). Timothy treats adults ages 18 - 90 in a safe, genuine, non-judgmental atmosphere built on confidentiality, trust, and respect. Modalities he uses include Person-Centered, Strengths-Based, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies focusing on adapting techniques to your unique needs. He will take a holistic view of your health that encompasses your cognitive, physical, emotional, and social needs to assist you in finding a healthy lifestyle.
Timothy has experience working with young adults, adults, seniors, couples, and groups in outpatient settings. In his clinical work, Timothy has utilized traditional therapeutic techniques and creative modalities such as art therapy, mindfulness, music, role-play, and games. Timothy spent several years as a Creative Director, which guided his creative modality use.
Timothy enjoys painting, working out, playing games, and reading in his free time. He also loves being outdoors, camping and fishing with his family whenever he can. Timothy has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Minot State University.
