You’ll feel heard, understood and supported in the warm presence of Veronica. She’ll work with you to develop a therapeutic relationship that meets your needs and creates a positive experience. She’ll empower you and honor your courage as you journey towards healing and wholeness. Together with her clients, Veronica helps them to overcome a variety of issues, barriers, or past experiences that have led to feelings of depression, anxiety or trauma. Using many types of skills-based practices and behavior-based skills, such as active listening, strength finding and mindfulness, she guides clients to develop a keen sense of self-awareness, which is a key component to growth. She has experience using CBT, DBT, person-centered and solutions-focused models, TF-CBT interventions, family therapy, and play therapy as appropriate. Veronica holds a Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling, as well as a professional counseling license. She’s worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual, family and group settings.
