Wyatt has a calming presence that will make you feel comfortable talking with him from the very first session. You’ll also enjoy the way he weaves humor into therapy. When you meet with him, you also can look forward to finding a place where you can be completely youself without fear of judgement. You’ll learn how to communicate your authenticity and then use that new skill in the outside world to establish healthy boundaries in other relationships and develop a strong sense of identity. Wyatt finds that creativity and flexibility are some of the best tools that he can use when working with clients. He considers himself an eclectic practitioner who draws from many different therapeutic forms to assist clients in the best way possible. Some of his “go-to” modalities include experiential therapy, psycho-dynamic therapy, Gestalt therapy, reality therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, existential therapy, and expressive therapy. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology, and has three years of experience working in private practice, two years working in community mental health, and nearly 10 years of experience working as an educator and advocate for those within the gender, sexual, and relational minority communities.
