Robin invites you into a safe therapeutic space to unearth solutions to the challenges you face. She believes you’re a multi-faceted being, with unique strengths and resources, and she’ll help you use them to work toward becoming your highest self. If a spiritual orientation is important to you, she’ll include that in your healing journey.

When providing therapy, Robin uses positive psychology, strengths-based and solutions-focused approaches with an accentuation on mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques and evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Structural Family Therapy. As a certified handler of a therapy dog named Sophie, Robin also will utilize Animal-Assisted Therapy when it is evident that a client could benefit from Sophie’s therapeutic presence. Sophie was trained as a psychiatric service dog and provides comfort and stress relief with an inherent ability to recognize anxiety, depression and other emotional states. Additionally, Robin may incorporate Expressive Arts into her work with clients, which may come in the form of writing, drawing, painting, music, or dramatic presentation—any creative endeavor that aids in both the client’s and Robin’s understanding of what is unfolding.

Robin holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, a Master’s in Fine Arts in Writing and Poetics from Naropa University and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
