Stephanie provides a calm, supportive environment where you’ll feel safe expressing yourself. In the comfort of this warm space, she’ll guide you in finding and maintaining greater peace and satisfaction in both your personal and work life. Along the way, she’ll help you develop the skills to manage troubling emotions like depression and anxiety.
Stephanie will work with you to uncover and understand the source of what is troubling you. This will allow you to view your feelings and thoughts as natural responses to stressful events or circumstances. Stephanie believes this perspective is key to you developing a self-compassion and self-acceptance that are at the heart of the healing journey.
Stephanie primarily uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach. She also uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as other interventions. Stephanie will combine the approaches that best support you as a unique person.
Stephanie has a Master of Social Work degree and has worked in the field of community mental health for over 20 years. She has a special interest in the psychology of spirituality.
