Dr. Gannon takes a holistic approach to patient care, taking time to determine how his clients’ mental illnesses have impacted them physically, mentally, cognitively, socially, and spiritually. He treats many issues, and has successfully helped people grappling with depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, cognitive difficulties, and/or substance use challenges. While medication is the primary means a psychiatrist uses to treat people, Dr. Gannon also encourages healthy doses of therapy, fitness, nutrition, social relationships, spiritual connectedness, and other positive pursuits that bring an individual peace and strength. He says, “All these facets of a person can be impacted by mental illness and each can also improve one’s overall mental health.”

He’s a board-certified fellow in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He also has a Doctorate in clinical psychology and a Master’s degree in exercise science.
